The Diploma in Dental Mechanics is a 2-year full-time paramedical diploma course designed to equip students with the technical skills required to support dental professionals in creating and maintaining dental prosthetics. These include crowns, bridges, dentures, orthodontic appliances, and other restorative devices used in modern dental treatments.
The course focuses on dental material science, oral anatomy, and hands-on laboratory training in fabricating accurate and functional dental devices. Students learn to use both traditional techniques and modern tools such as CAD/CAM systems. Dental mechanics work primarily in dental laboratories, playing a critical behind-the-scenes role in patient dental care.
