The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program for Boys is a 3-year diploma course (plus a 6-month internship) that aims to develop competent nursing professionals capable of providing high-quality care in hospitals, clinics, and community settings.
The course covers theoretical and practical training in anatomy, physiology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatric care, mental health nursing, and community health. It emphasizes skill development in bedside care, health assessment, first aid, emergency response, and patient rehabilitation.
Though traditionally midwifery is a part of GNM, male candidates focus primarily on general nursing, clinical practice, and public health roles. The program includes hands-on clinical experience to prepare students for real-world healthcare settings.
