What is BSc AT & OT?

BSc Anaesthesia Technology and Operation Theatre Technology (AT & OT) is a 3-4 year course that trains you to assist doctors during surgeries and anaesthesia procedures. You learn how to prepare operation theatres, handle surgical equipment, assist the anaesthesiologist in giving anaesthesia, and monitor patients during surgery. You become the backbone of any surgical team — without AT & OT technicians, no surgery can happen.

Why Choose BSc AT & OT?

Every hospital with a surgery department needs AT & OT technicians. The demand is growing fast because of new hospitals opening across India, and the increase in surgeries. You get a stable hospital job with regular working hours. Starting salary is decent and grows quickly with experience. This is one of the few allied health courses where you work directly in the operation theatre — it is exciting, hands-on work. International demand is also strong, especially in Gulf hospitals.
