What to Do Based on Your NEET Score

160+

Excellent

You have a strong chance at government college merit seats in all three states. Apply for state counselling immediately. You can also get top private colleges at government quota fees.

130–159

Good

Government seats are competitive but possible in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. You have excellent private college options. Focus on Nagercoil/Marthandam (TN) for value, or Mangalore/Kochi for quality.

100–129

Average

Government college seats are unlikely. Focus on private college management quota seats. Tamil Nadu (Nagercoil area) has the most affordable options in this range.

70–99

Below Cutoff

BSc Nursing government seats will be very difficult. Consider: (1) Management quota private BSc Nursing, (2) GNM Nursing (lower cutoff), (3) Allied Health courses like MLT, Radiology (even lower cutoff). Or retake NEET next year.

Below 70
