BPT Physiotherapy Career Guide 2026 — Scope, Fees & Admission in South India

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) is a 4.5-year undergraduate degree (4 years coursework + 6 months compulsory internship) that equips graduates to assess and treat musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, and paediatric conditions through physical methods.

Why Physiotherapy in 2026?

India's demand for physiotherapists is growing rapidly. With an ageing population, increasing sports activity, and a massive post-COVID rehabilitation need, BPT graduates are in high demand in hospitals, sports academies, nursing homes, and private clinics.

Internationally, physiotherapists are well-accepted in the UK (HPC), Australia (AHPRA), Canada, and the Middle East. South Indian graduates are increasingly being recruited for international roles.

NEET Requirement
