PNCMAK (Private Nursing College Management Association of Kerala) is the official body that conducts centralised, merit-based allotment for management-quota seats in Kerala's self-financing nursing colleges. If you want a private nursing seat in Kerala without going through the government (LBS) route, this is the application that matters — and registration for 2026 has started.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Plus Two (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories)
- Age: At least 17 years by 31 December of the admission year
- Who can apply: Indian citizens, Keralites, and dependents of NRIs
How to Apply — Step by Step
1. Register on the official portal: Visit pncmak.in and complete the basic registration with your name, mobile number, and email ID
2. Fill the application form: Log in with the credentials you receive and enter your personal details and Plus Two marks accurately
3. Upload documents: Scan and upload your SSLC certificate, Plus Two mark list, and other eligibility documents in a clear format
4. Pay the application fee: Complete payment online (Net Banking / Card / UPI) and keep a printout of the submitted application
Allotment is done through a fully online, centralised, merit-based system — your Plus Two marks decide your rank.
Documents Required
Keep originals ready for counselling and college admission:
- SSLC book (as age proof)
- Plus Two mark list
- Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate from your school
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Migration Certificate (if you studied outside Kerala)
- Passport-size photographs
PNCMAK vs LBS — Which Should You Apply Through?
| PNCMAK | LBS (Government/CAP) | |
|---|---|---|
| Seat type | Management quota, private colleges | Government & merit seats |
| Basis | Plus Two merit | Rank list + CAP options |
| Fees | Higher (management quota) | Lower (govt/merit quota) |
| 2026 status | Open — closes 15 July | Application window closed 12 June |
Serious nursing aspirants apply through both routes — LBS for the cheaper merit seats, PNCMAK as the management-quota path. Missed the LBS window? PNCMAK is your route into Kerala nursing this year. Important Warnings
- No agents or middlemen: PNCMAK allotment happens only through the official online portal. Anyone promising a "confirmed seat" for money outside the portal is misleading you.
- Dates can shift slightly subject to government and university approvals — apply early rather than waiting for the deadline.
- Verify the college's INC/KNC approval before confirming any seat.
